ATPS is organizing a Two-day training workshop on Entrepreneurship Skills for Bio-Scientists in Eastern Africa under the Project Bio Science Innovation Policy Consortium for Eastern Africa (BIPCEA). Bioinnovate policy consortium for Eastern Africa. The workshop, to be held on the 3rd and 4th May 2012 is part of the Project 9 of the Bio-Innovate Programme tagged “Biosciences Innovation Policy Consortium for Eastern Africa (BIPCEA)”. The workshop will take place at Silversprings Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya.
The main aim of the training is to enable Scientists from other projects in the Bio-Innovate Programme acquaint themselves with requisite skills on enterprise establishment, management and operations, Techno-economic feasibility, due diligence and technology licensing among others.
The BIPCEA project is being undertaken by ATPS in collaboration with the Kenya National Council of Science and Technology (KNCST); Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST); Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH); Directorate of Science, Technology and Research, Rwanda (DSTR); International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-Biotech Applications (ISAAA); and the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI).
