Ahead of the Abijan Summit, UNICEF carried out an opinion survey among young people living in west and central Africa using U-Report, UNICEF’s mobile-messaging-technology tool.

128,000 young Africans took part in the survey and answered questions about the importance of education in times of conflict. At the event on 13 November, the survey outcome will be presented by the U-Reporters themselves, before relaying it to leaders attending the AU-EU Summit.
