New Internet activity in the music industry in South Africa. In tandem with the social networking site Facebook, tickets will now be able to be sold directly to fans, according to the Mail & Guardian Online.

The local company Tixsa, working with Ticket Biscuit company from the US, has farther reaching plans for social-networking ticketing in the near future. This comes after the SA Competition Commission investigation of Computicket’s monopoly of the market has completed and new entrants are able to enter this market.
