Endurance International Group (NASDAQ:EIGI), a leading provider of cloud-based platform solutions to help small and medium-sized businesses succeed online, today announced it has begun to offer Google Apps for Work to its small business subscribers. This new offering extends the existing relationship between Endurance and Google (NASDAQ: GOOG), and reflects the companies’ joint effort to get small businesses online and help them grow.
The addition of Google Apps for Work to Endurance’s services allows small business subscribers on the Bluehost, Domain.com, iPage, and HostGator platforms to access powerful professional tools, including Gmail connected to their domain, cloud-based storage with Drive, Calendar for meeting scheduling, and Hangouts for video conferencing. These tools are integrated into the customer control panel, giving subscribers a single location to manage their entire web presence.
The two companies have a history of collaboration through multiple programs, including the Get Your Business Online programs in the U.S. and India, the Google AdWords Reseller programs in the U.S. and India, and most recently via joint programs in Africa and Southeast Asia.
This is the third agreement between Endurance and Google announced this year. Other partnerships the companies have announced include:
- The extension of the Get Your Business Online program in the United States, through which Google has helped bring hundreds of thousands of American businesses online with free domains, web services, and support.
- Programs to provide small businesses in emerging markets, including in Africa and Southeast Asia with the Google My Business product, which helps connect businesses with customers through listings on Search, Maps, and Google+. Once listed, Endurance offers a variety of solutions to help these businesses promote and grow their web presence, including a website, eCommerce, SEO, and Google AdWords offerings.
“We are pleased to have created such a strong partnership with Google over the past few years, with the ultimate goal of helping to bring more small businesses online across the globe,” said Hari Ravichandran, CEO of Endurance. “There are natural synergies between our offerings, and with the addition of Google Apps for Work to our platform, we have further strengthened and enhanced our suite of services for small businesses.”
Endurance is not only offering Google Apps for Work to its customers but also recently decided to adopt it as a corporate standard for itself. The company rolled out the suite of applications internally to its U.S. offices and plans to implement it at its international divisions in the coming months.
